Language Arts, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science and Bible, are the fundamentals for all of our students.

But elective classes enrich and inspire every child. All APBS students take Physical Education. Visual Arts, and Music Lessons weekly.

College Readiness

APBS students are prepare to succeed in a Christ-Centered environment and a college preparatory set up.

High School students have the opportunity to participate in our dual enrollment programs at Keiser University or Valencia College.

Azalea Park Baptist School is a private school that serves Preschool-12th Grade students and was founded in 1956. Our mission is to provided academic excellence with a Christ-centered focus. Our students learn using multiple curriculums: Abeka, Lifepac., Bob Jones along the Florida Sunshine State standards. The curriculum’s emphasizes academic rigor and values.

Day Care Service

Free VPK services are provided to qualifying students

Florida was one of the first states to offer free prekindergarten for all 4-year-olds regardless of family income. The Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program prepares early learners for success in kindergarten. Children must live in Florida and be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the current school year to be eligible. APBS offers an all year program from 8-12pm. Parents have the option to pick up their kids at 12 pm or leave them longer, up to 6 pm for an additional fee. We also accept students with 4C benefits.

Guidance Services

Azalea Park School is committed to the education, growth and development of each student. Within that commitment is the desire to connect students with their goals! We do this by monitoring them closely during their high school years. Our Principal Mrs. Ortega meets with each of the high school students to discuss their plans. Not all students are meant to go to college; but all students are meant to reach their maximum potential.

APBS works closely with several universities. Our students are encouraged to participate in our Dual Enrollment Programs or to consider a vocational school certification. A high school diploma is not the end but simply a tool to go to the next level. Our staff is dedicated to the mental and spiritual health of our students. APBS has a 100% graduation rate and until now all of our high school graduates have continue their education at the undergraduate level!
